Results of the first round

This year 707 students took part in the first round of the Physics Olympiad. 130 of them received an invitation to the autumn training and second round. The threshold for a direct qualification was 8.4 points out of a maximum of 22 points.

Practice makes perfect - if your score wasn’t enough to reach the second round you can try again next year. The topics you’ll study in school will raise your chances for next time.

Grosser Erfolg für die Schweiz an der Internationalen Mathematik-Olympiade

Bei der Internationalen Mathematik-Olympiade (kurz IMO) die vom 18. bis 28. September stattfand, gewannen die Teilnehmenden aus der Schweiz gleich vier Medaillen – und verbrachten eine unvergessliche Woche in Slowenien.

Vom 13. bis 19. September fand die Internationale Informatik-Olympiade (IOI) statt. Jugendliche aus über 80 Ländern programmierten um die Wette. Mit dabei waren vier Schüler aus der Schweiz, von denen zwei auf dem Siegerpodest landeten.
